Combine a fun scooter experience with snorkeling in an incredibly beautiful place, the Tugboat, with this Tugboat Snorkel Scooter Tour. Upon arrival you will receive a short instruction about the scooter, which is particularly easy to drive. The scooters leave every Tuesday and Wednesday at 1:30 PM from the parking lot at Jan Thiel Beach. To drive the scooter you must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license. The first stop gives you a panoramic view of the snorkeling spot, Caracas Bay and the Baya beach area. Then you ride your scooter along the coast to the snorkeling spot where the real experience begins. Perhaps at the most beautiful snorkeling spot on the island.
The underwater world of Curacao is one to discover! And this snorkeling spot for sure! The “Tugboat” (tow boat) is about 5 meters deep and sank about 30 years ago. The 9 meter long wreck is covered in coral and sponges and surrounded by schools of colorful fish. It is great to see and the advanced snorkeler can easily dive down. It is such a wonderful experience that you really have to experience for yourself.
