The Blue Room
One of the stopovers is the "Blue Room," which is known for the blue light in the cave. It is a beautiful place for snorkeling and diving and a unique experience in Curaçao. The crew of the Powerboat will go in with you to guide you in and out of the cave. Depending on the water level you may have to swim a little bit under water to enter the cave. Once inside the blue cave, you will enjoy this small wonder of nature. If weather conditions do not allow you to enter the blue cave, you will be moored at an alternative location for snorkeling.
Playa Piscado (Playa Grandi), sea turtles
At Playa Piskado many sea turtles swim. These beautiful animals are attracted by the fishermen who throw their catch into the sea after cleaning it. Never touch the turtles and give them room to surface to breathe. Sea turtles are a wonderful part of marine life and move gracefully through the water. This is great to be able to see and take pictures of but respect nature and stay at an appropriate distance.
Lunch, relax and adventure
Not only will you discover a lot on this unique trip, there is also plenty of time to relax. Around lunchtime the captain will throw out an anchor or moor at a beach. The crew will serve a delicious lunch consisting of burgers, salad and bread. Vegetarian, vegan, gluten free, halal and/or dairy free options are also offered. Please note that you must request this in advance when booking.
Please note that during the snorkel trip with powerboat you could get wet because of the waves. Wear something that can get wet and bring some dry clothes for after the tour. Don't forget your sunscreen and enjoy a 'perfect day'!
