During peak season, day trips sell out weeks before departure. We recommend booking as soon as you know when you want to go to Klein Curaçao. Booking early eliminates any risk. To reserve and secure your spot(s), you only need to pay a small deposit of 20%. The remaining balance is due no later than 48 hours before departure. You can also cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before departure. So there's no reason to wait to book.

You'll sail to Klein Curaçao on the Bluefinn Topcat (max. approx. 30 people). Breakfast is served on board, followed by free time on the island, and a BBQ lunch awaits you around noon. Water and soft drinks are included, and later in the day, the open bar opens. Often, there's also a large floating mat in the water.
You book through Caribbean Tours and pay a deposit upon booking. This immediately secures your date. You pay the remaining balance via a payment link you receive by email.
The Bluefinn Topcat departs at 8am from the Caracas Bay (Village Marina, near Jan Thiel). The trip to Klein Curaçao takes about 1.5 hours. You'll sail back late in the afternoon, arriving back in Curaçao no later than 5:00 PM.

Yes. Because this boat operates with a smaller group and you have your own shaded spot on the island, it's a great option for families and older travelers. Keep in mind, however, that you'll have to walk a short distance to the beach itself.
The Topcat is smaller than the larger Bluefinn catamarans, but it sails steadily to Klein Curaçao. If you're sensitive, take a tablet 30 minutes before departure and remain seated outside. The more calmly you move and the more you look at the horizon, the better. If you're very concerned about seasickness, you can also take the Book a Powerboat to Klein Curacao, you are guaranteed not to suffer from seasickness due to the low position of the boat.
Swimwear, towel, sunscreen, sunglasses/hat, your own snorkel gear (if needed), and some cash for tips or extra drinks. The rest (breakfast, lunch, drinks) will be taken care of for you.
There are only two providers that have a toilet on the island. These are the Mermaid and Miss Ann. All other operators don't have a toilet on the island, but they do have one on the boat, for example. Unfortunately, the toilets on the Mermaid and Miss Ann are exclusively for their guests. If you're arriving by Powerboat, which doesn't have a toilet, you can ask the Mermaid or Miss Ann if you can use them. If you ask politely, they usually grant you permission.

We had a great day. Klein Curacao is unusually beautiful, even paradisiacal. The crew is great and really made it a party. The BBQ lunch was delicious. My partner proposed to me on the island (yay!) and this was also briefly discussed. Definitely recommended!

We really enjoyed a nice catamaran trip with an enthusiastic crew who made it a real show. BBQ was great and more than sufficient. Many participants suffered from seasickness due to high waves. Return journey was considerably quieter. Island was a tropical picture. A (short) walk to the lighthouse and the two wrecks was also worthwhile. Highly recommended…
